Out with the old, in with the new. Our 2018 500 EXC only has 62 hours on it, but it's been sitting a lot the last couple years and is in need of some maintenance. We're starting with an oil change, coolant flush, bleeding the brakes and hydraulic clutch, and a fresh chain and sprockets.

Making new sliding door interior panels for a sprinter van. First step was to replicate the originals with 1/4-in plywood. Then enlarge the original holes in the sheet metal for 1/4-20 rivnuts. This was complicated due to the fact that a new floor/ subfloor has already been installed, which made it impossible to get the rivnut installation tool in some of the lower spots. A work-around was found by using a long bolt and wrenches to manually install the rivnuts, and it actually worked really well. Next up is to wrap the wooden panels and then insulate the door cavity. Eventually a side window will be installed in the door as well.

Got the new to us 950 SMR shop bike in the garage for a good going over. We did a complete fluid change, new tires, chain & sprockets, hand guards, grips, and had the front and rear suspension serviced. Looking forward to getting this on some mountain roads soon.
