It was like yesterday, 14th floor on Broadway, as I watched people jumping from the top floors to their death. Words can't describe our gratitude for all the first responders and to so many, doing their best for the very last time. Thats when our nation united as I've never seen before. So as the boaters.

When in Capestang, please stop by this bakery for morning Croissants and so much more. Located right at the Village Square and words can't describe how delicious everything that i have purchased here was.

Small line of locals, respectfully waiting outside of the shop, allowing up to two customers inside, makes a wonderful opportunity for a brief conversation.

Town of Capestang, France is another Midieval village on our voyage on Canal Du Midi. When walking the streets here, one can only imagine how life was centuries ago. I personally imagine sounds of horses, produce being carried by locals, and busy small shops that close by 1pm for a break before opening once again later in the day.

The Malpas Tunnel (Tunnel Du Malpas) was built in the 17th century. The scenery is romantic as it can possibly be. Wineries, castles, bridges, and so much more.

Fonseranes Locks are a flight of staircase locks on the Canal du Midi near Béziers. Yes, we did that today!

While at it, there was a couple from Amsterdam. They were admiring the structure and helped to keep our spirit high by joining us for the last few locks aboard.

After going through several locks on Canal Du Midi, we are spending the night in Beziers. Magical street decor, peaceful and quiet streets. This is absolutely a must stop on your journey in Europe.

Hotel De La Cite is truly one of a kind place! Michelin star restaurant. Library Bar. Garden overlooking the city and its located within the medieval fortified city of Carcassone. By the way, on last photo, the bookshelf in the corner is actually a hidden door.
