Thank you to the boating community who attended the Blessing of the Fleet yesterday (6/28/2026). There were 75 boats who passed by for a blessing. More photos to follow soon.

A reminder for this coming Sunday (6/28):
The Annual Blessing of the Fleet with the cooperation of the City Island Sail & Power Squadron and the Leonard Hawkins American Legion Post will occur on Sunday, June 28, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Barron’s Boatyard dock, City Island. Multi-denominational clergy will bless vessels from the dock located in City Island Harbor. Participation is by water only! Boats should assemble in City Island Harbor by the Barron’s Boatyard dock at 12:30 p.m. Communications on VHF #71 will begin at 12:30 p.m.

Congratulations to the students who finished the two-session America's Boating Course led by our squadron last Saturday and the Saturday before. We are so proud of you! Some of them become new members of the squadron, too, so we are looking forward to seeing them regularly. A huge thanks to all of our instructors. They are truly the best!
