The Chiron Pur Sport is 110lbs lighter than the Sport and has a new camber, -2.5° on both axels that requires all new suspension joints. There are even 130% stiffer bearings upfront and 77% stiffer at the rear. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🏁 @Alllcarnews Spec Sheet: Powering this Chiron is the familiar 8.0L Quad Turbo W16 making 1,500HP. The difference is the redline is new 200RPM higher at 6,900RPM, 15% closer gear ratios in the updated gearbox too. Its also gets a 110lb diet and somehow can do a 37MPH to 75MPH run 2 sec faster than a normal Chiron. 0-60 under 2.3 sec, 0-124MPH in 5.9sec, 0-186MPH in 12.4sec.. crazy times! Top Speed is limited to 217MPH as this car is focused on handling, downforce and track performance! 🏁 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The front end gets wider air intakes and a larger horseshoe grille! The rear gets a massive 74.8in wide X-wing spoiler making “serious downforce” as the company says. The exhaust is made from 3D printed titanium too. There is also a unique paint and carbon finish to give a motorsport heritage look. New Aero Alloy wheels are wrapped in special Bugatti Sport Cup 2R rubber made by Michelin measuring a massive 355/25 out rear. ______________________________________ [9/8/20 /// #acnBMW #acnReviews ] The facelifted (LCI=Life cycle Impluse) BMW 5 Series brings an infusion of modernity into the popular midsized luxury sedan. Checking out this 2021 540i xDrive at @bmwofRidgefield was more than a treat, and so was the STUNNING Carbon Black exterior paint, 19in M sport wheels and shadowline exterior trim pack! This example came in around $72k and still didn’t have all the options (like adaptive cruise and other autonomous features, executive pack rear seating and more). ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🏁 @Allcarnews Spec Sheet: The facelifted 5 series will keep the same powertrains though there is a new 48v mild hybrid system on the 540i models which keeps the 3.0L turbo Straight 6 and 335HP. The 530e model gets 288HP and 310 lb-ft of torque from a 2.0L Turbo 4 and electric motor. The M550i gets 523HP and 533 lb-ft of torque from its 4.4L TT V8 as before with 3.6sec 0-60 and 155MPH TopSpeed. An all new 545e PHEV also is here with 394HP and 442 lb-ft of torque. 🏁 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Inside of this 540i is the black Dakota Leather seats and the massive new iDrive 7 system with OTA updates, a standard 12.3in digital cluster and cloud based navigation. Other interior changes are some more buttons converted to gloss black and an optional sensatec stitched dash. Wireless CarPlay and android auto also are featured with Apple’s CarKey also present. The interior still is great and the seats, M Sport steering wheel and build quality are also still top notch. But with Audi, Mercedes and even Genesis now offering more advanced digital gauge clusters…BMW needs to catch up.
