Hustle N Tow, Inc. is a fast-growing trucking company based in Brooklyn, New York.
We are looking for an experienced Dispatcher/Clerical Officer. This position manages drivers planning and load assignments for drivers to ensure efficient utilization of assets, having a direct impact on driver profitability, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
We all know the dispatching environment is face-paced and can be stressful due to uncontrollable factors. Core Responsibilities & Duties:
· Load-planning/dispatching
· Communicate with drivers
· Make routing decisions that satisfy customer expectations and company financial decisions
· Ensure that shipping data is entered into the system timely and accurately
· Clerical duties as assigned
Qualifications:
· Two (2) plus years of experience in Transportation - (Knowledge of dispatching/load-planning, DOT regulations to project arrival times, schedule backhauls…i.e.,) OR related experience
· Ability to multiple tasks in real-time situations & still be able to prioritize with great attention to detail Access to Desktop or Laptop Available w/reliable Internet Service
· Independent proficiency in Microsoft Excel required
· The ability to handle inbound emails

Must be licensed to operate a flatbed tow truck / wheel lift or able to obtain one within the first month of employment (DCA license, towing endorsement)
