🏁 Hunter Lawrence explains exactly what happened in Moto 1.
According to Hunter, Thunder Valley was basically a one-line track. Step off the main line for even a moment, and you lose time. That's how Haiden Deegan found his way through—taking a different line to make a move, even if it came with a risk.

"No, what I mean is, it doesn't matter who is behind me. I tried to take a different line to get past Jett. And this track, I mean, we used pretty much the same line from the first qualifying up to the end of the motos. It was really just a single line. If you switch to a different line, you will definitely just lose time. And that is exactly how Haiden got me in the first Moto-he tried a different line, he tried to go around Jett but he lost time. Then there he was, on the inside. So, yeah, that just seems to be how racing goes on this track."

Sometimes racing isn't about being faster everywhere. It's about being in the right place at the right time. 👀🔥
