This is a family owned business that has been in business for 5 generations! It has been a long time since our well-known company was started. Although this family owned business was started long ago, it was only in 2015 that Water Wheel Rentals LLC came forth. The
Johnson family started their own mill, known as the Johnsonβs Mill, founded by Robert Johnson and followed by his family members, Al Auther and Johnny Johnson. Today, this reputable trailers firm is run by the team of father, Jimmy Johnson, and his sons John and Andy Johnson. Even though the original Johnsonβs mill got washed away in 1916 during floods, the Johnson family left no stone unturned in rebuilding the business. They soon created a new mill in the same year, the one which is still in use. This mill operates with the original stones that make corn meal. In 1984, the Johnsons expanded their business by adding a feed mill. And, in 2004, a high-tech manufacturing facility was opened by the Johnson family at the same place where Barren Creek Beef Jerky was born in 2008. Eventually in 2010 the name, Barren Creek Beef Jerky became a US Registered Trademark. In 2015, the Johnsons family started selling Big Tex Trailers, which ultimately gave rise to Water Wheel Rentals LLC.
