Our Clubhouse offers a busy recreation program which includes bingo, pancake breakfasts, pot luck suppers, soup and sandwich lunches, dancing—both line dancing and couples dancing, crafts, card playing and lots of other monthly activities. There are Tournament shuffleboard courts, a heated pool, horseshoe courts, 2,pickle ball courts, State of the Art exercise building, and even a putting green for resident golfers to enjoy. The resort has a billiards room and library. We have a newly renovated laundry facility available in the resort along with clean restrooms that include FREE hot showers. Each lot has a complete hook-up for water, sewer and electricity and most also have a large concrete patio. The resort offers free WiFi through out as well as secured for a nominal fee. Cable TV and phone services are available though local companies. There are lighted, paved streets throughout the entire resort . A shopping center and medical facility are within walking distance. We are located close to many shopping malls,churches, hospitals, a library and of course—the pristine Florida beaches. The Sponge Docks at Tarpon Springs is just a short drive where you can enjoy both shopping and delicious Greek food at many fine restaurants. If fishing is your sport, you are in the right spot! If Golf is your sport, you'll be delighted by all the golf courses you can try out your skills at. Busch Gardens is only about a 30 minute drive from Orchid Lake and there is also a Dog Track and a Horse Track not far away. If you enjoy the major attractions Florida has to offer, Disney World, Epcot Center, and Sea World are only a couple of hours away.
