VDKA at Hunterstown

Ran senior champ and clone limited

We qualified mediocre ending up around 10th in both champ races and 2nd in the limited

Points features
Champ: DNF. Testing for pro race
Limited: 2nd, overdrove and blew the tires off

Pro features
Champ: 9-4. Had a fast kart but wasn’t able to make as much progress as I should’ve been able to

Limited: 2-1. Had a really good kart and took the lead early. Won it comfortably
I can’t thank James Wilson enough for the badass limited and help throughout the day

Also Ensor Speed Shop for the power in clones

Jeff Stiffie Clutches Rathfon for making sure all my power gets down

My dad for working with me on tires and working hard all day

And everybody who supports me as we continue to get better every weekend.

Also Bailey Moore for the flag😂

WKA Commonwealth series at Hunterstown

In the flat for 375 we missed in qualifying, knowing the risk and trying to get more speed I had it a little bit different then the buggy and it didn’t pay off, but we still ran both features with lap times within a tenth of fast lap and faster than the winners.

In the champ kart for senior champ 425:
Points qualifying(17): 3rd(0.067 off pole)
$$$ qualifying(15): 4th(0.04 off pole)

Points feature: 4th(fastest lap of the race) It took me a minute to settle in and get my laps so I got shuffled early, but once I did the kart took off

$$$ feature: 1st I took the lead on lap 5 and did not look back

It’s super cool to win a bigger race like this in senior, and if anyone knows me I think it reflects the amount of work I put into this and the sacrifices made.

Can’t thank Roy and Caroline Young Ensor enough, bad fast motors and those guys have supported me since I was 13-14 just starting to race jr champ at state races.

Jeff Stiffie Clutches Rathfon for always getting a these clutches on point when we need

Rylan Wolf has stood by my side since I was a slow junior

My dad for what he’s had to sacrifice and what he’s willing to put into this
My mom for the full support in racing

My grandfather Bill Crooks happy birthday! Hope a win like this is a good present

And everybody that has continued to stick by me and support me and my karts as we get better every race. From here we will only work harder to get back in victory lane some more

Day 2 of Daytona

Qualified 8th and 22nd. Missed a little bit on a few too many aspects

First feature got freight trained early and slowed myself to the back to get laps, think I ended up 16th.

Second feature had a good run going to 12th and a good shot for top 10 but with so many people all trying to get to the front overaggressive drivers made progress difficult and risky resulting in a DNF at 15th.

Again big thank you to Joe @ Welding and Performance Inc, Darin Mellott, my dad, Casey, the Pikes and Nuttings, Ensor Speed Shop, and Jeff Stiffie Clutches Rathfon.

This was a great and fun experience and coming away with a top 5 isn’t bad. I have so much appreciation for those willing to help me in this sport and the opportunities. Thank you to everyone

Unfortunately fog cancelled Day 2(Day 1 for me) of Daytona.

We officially scored
14/30 for jr3 warmup
5/27 for jr3 pro

Finally figured everything out and felt very confident for features just to have the program cut. Weather is out of our hands

Thank you to Joe @ Welding and Performance Inc, Darin Mellott, my dad, Casey, the Pike and Nutting familes, Ensor Speed Shop, and Jeff Stiffie Clutches Rathfon
We will have a strong piece heading into the final day

Turkey Trot at Capital City
Thank you to the track and everyone involved for getting the show in

This weekend I ran jr restricted and jr champ, Rylan Wolf ran clone heavy warmup and pro.

Qualifying
Jr restricted warmup(23): 9th
Jr restricted pro(21): 14th
Just missed on tire or gear in both
Jr champ(12): 1st

Clone heavy warmup(33): 17th
Pro clone heavy(32): 13th

Features:
Jr restricted warmup: 9th-6th
Jr restricted pro: went all the way to third, tangled while getting passed, then caught up in the back and DNF’d. Felt very good and capable of winning
Jr champ: 1st-3rd facing mechanical difficulties

Clone heavy warmup: 17th-9th. Made it as high as 8th and could’ve been higher with some luck, 5th fastest lap
Pro clone heavy: 13th-12th. Missed on tires and didn’t have as much speed.

Thank you to Tyler Weaver for helping

Halloween Havoc at Albemarle
Unfortunately track crews struggled to get the track right all day however it was still a decent track and super fun event, thank you to them for making it happen

Practice
Clone limited: we were super quick and felt good
Sr Champ: missed on gearing

Qualifying
Clone limited: 7th in both
Sr champ: 5th and 6th
In the limited I drove conservatively knowing how technical the track was, champ we chased gear all day.

Features, got much better
Clone limited warmup: got as high as 4th but finished 5th
Sr Champ warmup: ran 5th, got passed for 6th and pulled off
Clone limited pro: ran 4th and had the kart for 3rd but never able to get the pass off, best the limited felt all day
Sr Champ pro: ran 4th but mistakes on the pass for 3rd took me out of contention, leading to a DNF

Aidan Crouse, my dad, and James were on top of it all weekend going above and beyond working with me to make sure everything was right everytime we hit the track, can’t wait to make the changes we need and get back out

VDKA at Margarettsville.

While we didn’t have the best weekend, we continued to learn and pick up lessons. Each race we are one step closer
Results were DNF x2, DNS, and 3rd

I would like to give an extra thanks to those supporting me, through mistakes, wrecks, and races I shouldn’t have lost. No matter what happens, their dedication and willingness to keep pushing and try for me is unmatched and extremely appreciated. I am proud of those around the team and thankful for the opportunities presented to me through their sacrifices and hard work. We will continue to get faster and keep working at it.

Thank you to Jeff Stiffie Clutches Rathfon, Ensor Speed Shop, Bubba’s Karting Concepts, Rylan Wolf, James Wilson, Nick Leppo, G-KART GRAFIX, Valorie Crooks, Bill Crooks, and my dad for everything.

Wanted to run adult so I ran clone heavy and clone limited

Big thank you to James Wilson for building us this hog of a limited motor

Practice
Felt good in the limited, clone needed work but I expected that

Qualifying
Clone limited warmup(11): 7, we just missed, slow and in the back
Clone heavy(8): 6, only a tenth off but way underturning and pushing
Clone limited pro $500(10): 2, close to pole.

Features
Clone limited warmup: 7-2. Really fast kart and felt like I was the fastest in the closing laps but didn’t have enough time to catch the leader

Clone heavy warmup: 6-3. Made my way to the lead early and lead most of the race, made a mistake taking me back to 4th but got back to third.

Clone limited pro: 2-DNF. Felt like I had the kart to win, made a mistake early and took myself out

Clone heavy pro: same as the warmup, got to 2nd early and passed back for 3rd. Sat there for too long trying to push back to the leader and got passed again. Recovered for 3rd.

Thank you to James and Rylan for helping as always, running 2 karts and 4 classes wouldn’t be possible without you.
