Below is the official press release from WISDOT regarding the upcoming construction on the County D/North Shawano Street and WIS 54 intersection:
**WISDOT will close portion of the County D/North Shawano Street and WIS 54 intersection in New London**
North half of the intersection will be closed from July 20 to Aug 16 as part of the construction project
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation announces the closure of the north half of the intersection of WIS 54 and County D/North Shawano Street in New London, Waupaca County, for 28 days beginning July 20. The closure is part of the ongoing construction project in the area.
The north half of the intersection will be closed on July 20 at 6 am and reopened by Aug. 16. The schedule is dependent on weather conditions and construction progress.
US 45 and the US 45/County D roundabout have been reopened to provide access. WIS 54 eastbound and westbound traffic will be maintained. There will be no posted detour with this closure.
