SPC Shaine Lymn Memorial Ride

SPC Shaine Lymn Memorial Ride A Motorcycle Ride to honor the memory of SPC Shaine Lymn, beloved son, brother, friend and soldier. ALL proceeds will benefit a different charity each year.

An approx. 80 mile ride through Otsego and Chenango counties with rest stops and a stop at the NYS Vets Home in Oxford, NY to chat with the Veterans. Lunch is included at the end of the ride, and there are door prizes, raffles and trophies!

We regret to inform you all that we will no longer be having the SPC Shaine Lymn Memorial Ride as we are moving out of state. We would like to thank all of our sponsors, volunteers, donors and participants over the years! It would not have been possible without each and every one of you! It was alot of hard work, but more than that, ALOT of FUN! Over the years, we donated to quite a few charities and causes in Shaine's name, which we have no doubt made him very proud! Again, THANK YOU to all who helped make this ride a wonderful success!

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of one of Shaine's military brothers, Joe Dumas. He was one of Shaine's close friends who really stepped up and was there for us, especially Sierra, after Shaine passed. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family at this difficult time.........Rest in peace, Joe.........you will be dearly missed..........

What a great day we had on Saturday! The weather held out for the most part (we hit a few raindrops here and there!), we had alot of new participants, and everything ran smoothly! We had approximately 50 bikes show, and we will be donating $1009 to the Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball Team! A HUGE Thank You to all who participated, the Pennysaver, Rentals To Go, The Trophy Guy, Morris Central School, Lex & Donna Danyluk, Gilligan's , all of our donors, Jay & Maryanne and Cody & Tennille and Johhny for selling tickets, Sierra & Hunter for driving the chase truck, and The Nitto family- Without them, our ride wouldn't be possible! As always, we welcome comments/suggestions for future rides and look forward to seeing everyone in 2016!

After much discussion, this years raffles will be a little different......instead of doing so many "single" raffle prizes, we will be making alot of gift bags.......For example, a bag may contain a t-shirt, sticker, bottle of wine and a gift card, etc. This will take less time to do the raffles and gives you a better variety of prizes! Good luck!!!

Just so you know......The ride is approximately 100 miles.....We travel from Morris, through New Lisbon, into Oneonta and then on to Sidney, where we stop for approx. 15 min. fuel/rest stop. We then travel into Guilford, Oxford, Norwich and then into Sherburne, where the ride concludes. (We usually stop at the Vets Home in Oxford for a brief ceremony and visit with the vets). If anyone has any questions/comments, please message us and we will get back to you asap! Thank you!

SATURDAY, AUGUST 15 is the date for this years ride!!! As always, we will have registration starting at 10am at Morris Central School, with KSU at 11am. We are still only $10 per person to register-and that includes your lunch (provided by Gilligans) ! We will have trophies, door prizes and raffle prizes after the ride, so mark your calendars and come out and support us and have a good time !!!
