Happy Heavenly Birthday to our founder and grandmother, Mrs. Charlsie Maturin, Mrs. Mott. She taught driver’s ed to many students over her 45 years of teaching driver’s ed. She was a teacher, coach, umpire, and referee. Most importantly, she was a wife, mother, and grandmother.

She is missed by so many. Her legacy lives on, as her teachings are now passed on to all of our students.

Pelican Driving School is extremely sentimental to our family. We have been family owned and operated since day one. There has always been a sense of family with our students and we hope to always have that.

Ms. Deanna has been there since the first day. She is a huge part of Pelican Driving School, also.

Our first year winning Best Driving School was extremely special, since the banquet and announcement happened on Mr. and Mrs. Mott’s anniversary. There will always be a part of her in Pelican Driving School.

For a third year in a row, Pelican Driving School has been community voted Best Driving School. We cannot say thank you enough to our students, parents, and the community for the support of our business.

We share this award with our students we teach, the parents who trust us, and our community, all of whom continue to support us while we provide the best education for our students.

THANK YOU to our instructors, who all help to keep our driving schedules running as smoothly as possible. We could not do this without all of you.

From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you all. We know our grandmother is watching over us with excitement as we continue her legacy to properly educate our students to become safe, defensive drivers.

🚦School zones will be in effect. Most are from 7:00 am until 9:00 am and 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm.

‼️FINES IN A SCHOOL ZONE ARE DOUBLE!
