⚠️ Road construction on WIS 32/57 has started today, May 26th. Hwy 57 from Irish Road, Chilton is CLOSED all the way into New Holstein. ⚠️

The road is expected to be fully closed for 10 days.

We are OPEN and running normal business hours during this time. They have to allow access to our business and thru traffic, however, if you do not have a destination along this route, they are making you turn around and use the detour route.

Editing to add - PLEASE be respectful of our yard and property during this time. People have been driving over our grass, recklessly driving through our yard to turn around, etc. The last thing we need is to hit someone as we are backing vehicles out or moving them around simply because they are not being respectful of our property.

Construction begins May 26, 2026, on WIS 32/57 between New Holstein and Chilton. This is a resurfacing-level project with culvert work. WIS 32/57 will be closed and detoured for 10 days at the start of this project between Ford Drive and just north of Irish Road. The project will finish in mid-July.

We apologize for the late post, but we have been discussing all morning if we should be open today or not.

We have decided (and I finally have Ryan convinced not to travel anywhere), it is best for us to just stay home. It’s not worth the travel risk.

We will be CLOSED today, Monday, March 16th.

Ryan’s cell phone may or may not have been ran over with a pickup truck yesterday at the shop 😅

With that being said, we can hear the sound when he gets a notification but the screen doesn’t work so we can’t do anything with it.

We know how important his phone is with the business and we are doing our best to get it fixed as soon as we can

2022 Cummins Lifter Failure

Truck came in with a tapping noise at only 140,000 miles.

Pulled the lifters out and found one had a flat spot in it. We are replacing the troublesome lifters with the solid tappet conversion from Hamilton Cams.

On today's episode of "What the ... "

Ryan and I heard chirping in the shop this morning, but we could not figure out where it was coming from. We thought it was just a bird flying around in the shop since we have the doors open today.

After further investigation, we ended up finding a bird's nest in the rear bumper of a customer's truck!! The truck was dropped off this morning, so the birds must have had one heck of a ride over here!

Ryan pulled the nest out from the bumper, and we went out back to dig for worms. We fed worms to the birds, and shortly after that, they both jumped out of the nest on their own.

The birds are currently running around doing their own thing with full bellies.

There's always something interesting happening around here!
