Tonight, our owner and CEO Patrick Connell was awarded the Delaware Business Times 2022 CEO of the Year - Medium For-Profit Business. Our team took part in the annual golf outing and dinner celebrating the honor.

Patrick shares this award in memory of his father and founder of ARS Armando, along with his mother Kathy, and everyone on our team and applauds their hard work with this honor.

To all the fathers-
On this day each year I’m reminded of all the blessing’s I’ve been given, it’s more than I can count. So many of those blessing’s came from the relationship I had with this guy, my dad. He’s my step father. For me the word “step” has significant meaning. It means he chose us. I was 10, it was the first lesson he taught me, our choices matter. From there until he passed in 2017 it was one lesson after another. Now, today on the 6th since his passing I realize the things I learned and the influence he had matter even more. At ARS & DTR we take our responsibility to the young men of our team seriously. Role models, mentors and great dads matter. You taught us well dad, thank you, we love you and because of you ARS will always be a place of these values. Happy Father’s Day!!

Crazy times we live in, nobody would deny that. It’s in these times that who we are at our core comes out. Our upbringing and our true character become cornerstones in our lives. The influence, guidance and example our fathers provided for us takes over as we navigate rough waters and ultimately persevere. I’m one of the lucky ones, I had two dad’s. Both, great men. Both, made me who I am today and both provided the cornerstones needed for me to thrive. I’m forever grateful. Here’s to all the great dad’s that inspire me each day- our company is filled with them. Great men providing cornerstones. I am blessed by their influence. Happy Fathers Day!!
