During the month of August we will be creating a fund raising event through our small business for a local family currently enduring extremely difficult circumstances.
Jason Shain, the husband and father, of this local family died on Saturday July 25th.
He was a good man, always doing for others in his community, always giving of himself.
Our family has a personal connection to this local family, my youngest son and one of Jason's sons are good friends and have been since early in their high-school days, so it is important to us to try to be helpful in their time of need.
During the month of August we will be donating 10% of every job scheduled, and 100% of all tips received, all of these will go directly to the family. We will also be offering the opportunity for our customers to contribute as well, if they so desire.
After each job is scheduled during the month we will send, via text message, information about this fundraiser for the Shain family to each customer. This will give each customer time before their appointment to consider the possibility, and opportunity, of making a voluntary donation at the time of their appointment.
On the day of each customers appointment, they will not be asked or pressured for a donation. If the customer has decided they would like to make a small donation, they can do so at that time voluntarily.
In an effort of complete transparency, we will be posting, at the end of each business week, an itemized tally of each day, each 10% total for every appointment, along with customer donations. We will happily recognize our customers generosity in this weekly tally, or if they prefer to remain anonymous, we will honor that request as well. These weekly transparency tallies will be buried somewhere here in this post among the comments and replies. This is about helping a family in need, not about us.
If, during the month of August, you are not in need of our services but would like to be of help to this family, feel free to give us a call and we can take your donations over the phone with a credit card number. These types of donations will also be listed in our weekly tally along with the day, time of the call, and the donors name or anonymity, whichever is preferred.
We look forward to working together with our customers to try to make a small difference for this family in their time of need.
Thank you to everyone in advance for your help and generosity!π₯²β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ
