Bring your paint, batteries, cleaners, and more on Saturday, February 21, from 8 a.m. to noon at City Hall, 550 Landa Street, for Household Hazardous Waste Drop Off!

This event is free for City of New Braunfels and Comal County residents. Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) is a chemical product that has any one or a combination of these properties:

☢️Toxic: Herbicide, pesticide, fungicide
💥Reactive: Pool chlorine, drain cleaner, hydrogen peroxide
🔥Ignitable: Gasoline, lighter fluid, paint thinner, stains
🧪Corrosive: Muriatic acid, laundry bleach, oven cleaner

📬 Did you get a survey in the mail? We want your feedback! The City of New Braunfels is once again participating in the National Community Survey.

This is a chance for residents to share feedback on the quality of life and City services. About 6,000 randomly selected households received invitations by mail. Your responses help City staff and elected officials better understand community priorities and evaluate how well current services are meeting public needs.

Didn’t get a mailed survey? The survey opens online to all New Braunfels residents beginning February 16, 2026, and all residents are invited to participate. All survey responses, whether by mail or online, are due by March 2, 2026.
