I can’t help it, I absolutely love working on American muscle!!! It’s always a pleasure to have a beautiful car from the past that needs a touch of TLC. These cars bring back so many wonderful memories, it’s hard to believe that it’s been 43 years since I rebuilt my first transmission. Time flys.

Just got done building a high performance 4L65E for a 1981 Camaro doing a LS swap. This thing has all the upgrades! And check out the hydro blasted case. Sexy! It should be a real beast. Shout out to Lucas Duncan for resurrecting his first car after all these years! I can’t wait to give it a test drive! Lol

Another beautiful example of American Muscle!!! What a beautiful ’69 Mach1, you just don’t get to see them this nice very often anymore. I had the privilege of rebuilding the transmission 20 years ago, and the owner just got the resto done. One of the nicest I’ve seen in a long time. Long live American Muscle!!!

You know it’s gonna be a different kind of week when you get these old school beautys to work on. Don’t know if I’ve ever had 3 Fords from the 1930’s in the shop at one time before. Got a ‘30, ‘31 and a ‘36 to do rebuilds on. Gotta love it!!!

Sometimes when ya get to work on some of the awesome vehicles from years gone by, ya realize just how much ya miss the "good 'ole days"! These are two classics I recently had the privilege to rebuild the transmissions in (as you can tell, it was two different days). Aren't they beautiful!!! I remember when these were common to see in the shop. Boy, am I feeling old. LOL

Every now and the I just sit back in amazement at how much things have changed since I started working on transmissions. It’s been 37 years since I removed and rebuilt my first one, and the changes are crazy. I can actually remember pulling transmissions out of the vehicle in less than 1/2 an hour. Those days are gone! Call me “old school”, but sometimes I wonder if it’s really for the good. I guess it’s called “progress”. 😊
