Toyota and Honda built their reputations over decades—but the latest numbers tell an interesting story.
In the 2026 J.D. Power Initial Quality Study, Kia ranked ahead of both Toyota and Honda in problems per 100 vehicles (PP100).
Does that mean every Kia is better than every Toyota or Honda? No.
