Marine Diagnostic Services is hiring!
We are a specialized technical facility based in New Bern, North Carolina, focusing on mechanical repair, electrical rigging, and advanced diagnostics. We work on a wide variety of equipment—from motor yachts and sailboats to custom in-shop fabrication and golf cart electrical conversions.
No two days are the same here. We take pride in doing things right the first time, and we're looking for a technician who shares that standard to join our team.
The Expectations & Pay We are absolutely willing to pay top-notch wages for the right person—but your skills, work ethic, and efficiency must back it up. If you are a high-level technician who produces clean, professional work and can run clean and independent while completing the documentation properly, you will be compensated like one. Pay scales directly with your experience and efficiency. Higher wages are paid on time billed, utilizing an easy-to-use shop management system in conjunction with written repair orders, while straight time is paid when appropriate, which in this field is most of the time. Entry-level rates are reviewed and adjusted frequently based on your growth.
