Never Forget September 11, 2001

Twenty-five years ago today, our nation faced one of the darkest moments in its history. In the blink of an eye, nearly 3,000 lives were taken, and the world as we knew it changed forever.

We remember the innocent lives lost. We honor the firefighters, police officers, paramedics, and everyday heroes who ran toward danger without hesitation. We salute the military men and women who answered the call in the days, months, and years that followed.

At Waldera's Towing, we have deep respect for first responders and the work they do every single day. Today, we take a moment to set everything else aside and simply say thank you, and we will never forget.

To every family that lost someone, your loved ones are not forgotten. To every first responder, past and present, your bravery and sacrifice mean everything.

This week is Crash Responder Safety Week, a nationwide initiative dedicated to raising awareness of the risks faced daily by emergency responders.

We urge all motorists to do their part: reduce speed, move over, and remain attentive when approaching incident scenes so that responders and motorists alike can return home safely.

In recognition of CRSW, the Hoan Bridge will shine in a new color each evening, with each color representing a specific group of emergency responders.

Monday’s display glowed yellow in support of Towing & Recovery.
