And another one done... This 1963 Corvette came to us with all sorts of mechanical and electrical issues. Along with needing a new convertible top installed. We kept peeling back the onion until we got all the issues fixed and everything working on the car. Some of the high points include a new radio, rebuilt heater box, rebuilt the trailing arms, rebuilt the gauges, and mounting the seats correctly along with a laundry list of other things. Now the owner can get out and enjoy it without worry this summer!

Weekend recap... It was a busy weekend too say the least with 2 cars at 2 different shows 200+ miles apart. The Green Machine had a successful debut at the Pigeon Forge Spring Rod Run as part of the Dirty Dozen. It brought home an Ultimate 7 pick out of 600+ cars. While 'Ol Yeller was at the Bluegrass World of Wheel's in Louisville, KY. It also brought home some hardware winning 1st in class and Outstanding Restored. And the 2026 Bluegrass World of Wheels "Young Builder" award winner is.... with Diesel Daisy, her 1981 VW Rabbit Truck. She put a lot of work into this little truck and her passion for it shined bright during her interview. She has a bright future in the hobby and we can't wait to see what she does to Daisy next. A big thanks to all of this year's participants and we can't wait for next year!!! Thanks to all our sponsors too that help make this award what it is:

Another one done... From pulling it out of a dilapidated garage to driving it home today, this 1935 Ford has come a long way. This one belonged to the owner's father who restored it back in the 1980's. He used it regularly in local parades and for taking his kids and grandkids for rides around town. Unfortunately, it was left parked for the last 25 years in a garage full of holes and became a home to several critters. We completely gutted the interior which lead to floor board replacement, then a completely new interior by Bingham Designs. All the wiring was replaced, all new rubber, went through the fuel system, cooling system, all fluids flushed and replaced, rebuilt the suspension, and went through the brakes. We left the outside alone but put the shine on it. It's now ready for the owner to continue her father's tradition, by taking her grandkids for rides around town!!! #1935
