The upcoming heat of summer days in a vehicle can be really miserable. The only way to beat the heat is with a properly functioning air conditioning system. In order for your A/C to function properly and stay dependable for years to come is to have the proper amount of refrigerant and oil in it so it doesn't build too much pressure or not enough pressure which can damage components of the system rather quickly. The parts of the system it can damage are too expensive to risk any damage by trying to save money and do it yourself or having a friend do it with a cheap kit from the local parts store. The charging stations we have will measure the amount of refrigerant so the system is charged exactly like it was when it was new. The system will be as cold and efficient as possible and will last a lot longer without major repairs to the system because it works like it was designed to. Don't risk costly failure to save a few dollars on the service of the system, a/c system repair can be very costly if they get damaged by improper servicing. Good morning folks! I am here today to remind you that winter is coming. That means it's time to change,or at least check some fluids and parts on your vehicle. Winter isn't so bad if you are prepared for it. Among things that should be checked/tested for dependability and piece of mind.( If you break down in cold weather you will wish you had not chanced it. ) Your battery should be tested,the tread on your tires should be checked, your wiper blades should be inspected for wear or cracking,and have your antifreeze tested, also possibly change your cabin air filter so your heater can get clean unrestricted air to keep you warm with as well as having your thermostat checked for temperature that reaches the specific coolant temperature for your car. Also use a washer fluid that is good for use in subzero temperature so it doesn't freeze up on you. Also pack you a " survival kit" and keep it in your car with a flashlight,a blanket,gloves,ice scraper and such, then winter won't be dangerous for you, and won't be such a worrisome winter.
