After 33 years of serving our community, we are saddened to announce that the Verizon phone center inside Gross Motors in Neillsville will close. Our last day of cell phone operations will be November 30, 2026.

This was not a closure we wanted or chose. Both General Motors and Verizon changed the requirements for our facility and operations, leaving us with no practical option to continue. We requested an exception from both but unfortunately were denied.

What began with Mark Sydorowicz’s great idea in 1993 grew into a busy and important part of our business. Without Mark’s vision and hard work, none of this would have happened, and we are grateful for everything he helped build.

To all our customers: thank you for your support, kindness, and trust over the years. We know how much having local, friendly help means, and losing that service for our community is one of the hardest parts of this closure.

We also want to thank Miranda and Brock, who our customers love, for the care and personal attention they provide every day.

We’re still here to help through November 30! If you need assistance with your phone or service, please come on in and see us before we close.

Thank you, Neillsville and our surrounding communities, for 33 wonderful years. It has been a privilege to serve you.
