Here are the rules!
1. Any four cylinder air cooled rear-engine VW powered vehicle allowed.
2. Only one type of power adder is allowed. (Turbo, nitrous, or supercharger.)
3. Minimum vehicle weight with driver:
-Naturally Aspirated 1650 lbs
-Nitrous 1725 lbs
-Turbo 1800 lbs.
-Turbo car with an engine 1800 cc or less 1750 lbs.
4. Brakes required on all 4 wheels.
5. Muffler required on non turbo ve
hicles.
6. Must have functioning headlights & taillights.
7. Must have two front seats.
8. Proof of registration and insurance required.
9. Vehicles must complete an approximate 10-20 mile street cruise prior to an event.
10. Vehicle must have all required safety equipment for ET/MPH as per track rules.
11. No wheelie bars allowed.
12. Vehicles must be driven to and from the pits. No tows allowed.
13. DOT tires required.
14. No methanol or nitro to be used as a fuel. E85 is ok.
15. No tube chassis vehicles, must be pan based. Backhalf cars add 50 lbs
16. Mandatory all cars be equipped with factory or Porsche style cooling tin (cooling fan that is belt driven but the belt can be removed for the race.)
17. Factory style cases only such as: as-21, as-41, Auto Linea, TF-1, water boxer, type 4, Autocraft and S**t. NO cases such as: Pauter, Fisher, billet, etc.
18. Automatic transmissions allowed, add 100 lbs.
