🏁 2026 WKA red plate champ champion COLE PIKE 🏁

Cole set out with 3 major goals this year.

Be a top contender in:
•Triple crown series Triple Crown Karting Events ✔️
•VDKA series ✔️
•WKA common wealth series WKA Dirt Series ✔️

Cole was not only a top contender but he took home the championship for ALL THREE & a second place in vdka champ

We really could not be more proud of this kid. He loves racing & this was the cherry on top. He puts in the work , the laps, the long hot days in the suit & helmet.
I hope he is as proud of himself as we are of him.
No matter who is cheering for you , you will ALWAYS hear us.
Keep shooting for the stars
Til the wheels fall off buddy ❤️

None of this would be possible without Russell Pike, first and foremost. I have not driven a single mile. He has driven us THOUSANDS of miles this summer. Russell works all week & comes home everyday and straight to the trailer he goes. We could never do this without you.

Darin Mellott Mellott Performance for absolutely killing it with the tires , everywhere we go you always figure it out. He sacrifices a lot of time to show up for these kids . Thank you for everything you have done for Cole this season.

Welding and Performance Inc for putting in the miles with us, we've spent a lot of time together the last 2 years. Thank you for believing in Cole & helping him shine to his full potential.

A congratulations is in order to our team mate Joey Williams Racing on his championship as well!

Hermie Sadler Karting Hermie Sadler because where would we be without our ride! So grateful we took a chance and now Cole rides on the best chassis they have on the market. Proud to be a premier rider!

As many of you know , WAP is a labor of love for us. Darin Mellott and I had a vision to build a program that would help develop young drivers on the national level while filling a void on the local level. A void that was left vacant for years. We are proud to be your kart shop! Thank you to everyone for trusting us. This program wasn’t meant to make a bunch of money, boost our egos or take advantage of the less experienced. We thank you for spending your hard earned money with us. Thank you!!!

Made the trip down to Capital City Speedway for the VDKA series race. Team showed a ton of speed all day. Ended up with 8 top 3’s and 2 wins. Rain messed up the second half of the day but we did what we needed to do to have a strong showing. Congrats to Joey Williams Racing and Van Iderstine Racing on the wins. Thank you to the families and friends who believe in Darin and I to help develop their little racers. Contact us to get your program to the next level .

Crazy day at capital city VA for the vdka series race. The word of the day was draft. Drafting is an element that we don’t deal with much in the north so it’s something we continue to work on. Ended up leaving with a pair of wins. Can’t thank everyone enough that helps make this happen. Really leaned on Uncle Darin this weekend so we could work on racing technique and strategies. Our Hermie Sadler Karting V3’s were strong as ever.

Finally getting my mind straight after a blur of a week. We made it to Seven stars for the Wka series race. The team had speed right out of the box putting most of our karts in the top 5 in time trials. Ended up the day with 4 wins, and a bunch of top 3’s.

Congrats to Joey Williams Racing , Cole Pike Racing #5 and Nutting Racing for their wins. Also John Diotte had a strong run in 375 pro just coming up short in second. Also Stratton Racing on their top 3 finish.

I’m beyond proud of what we are doing here. Between building and unloading a brand new buggy and getting a new customer roller in 360 and getting all of our local stuff figured out it was a hell of a week.

Special thanks to Hermie Sadler Karting for the great karts and Get Hooked by 193 for the great clutches.

Thank you to our partners that help us get up and down the road.

The team made the trip to Hunterstown for the WKA Dirt Series Commonwealth series yesterday. Blessed to be spending this Easter weekend with our families and friends doing something we love. We had karts in 10 classes. We ended up with 6 wins on the day. This was a total team effort. From rebuilding Joeys buggy after a jingle while leading the first buggy main to just making sure karts have tires and everything stays organized. Our Hermie Sadler Karting karts were great all day, consistent and full of speed. This picture means a lot to me. This is something Darin Mellott and I have been working so hard on. From chatting on the phone on the way home debriefing about the races that day to just tossing out ideas we’ve work so hard to get to this point. This is what hard work looks like. This is what a bunch of racing families having faith in us looks like. This is what boys turning into real racers looks like. This is what blessed looks like. Cole Pike Racing #5 , Stratton Racing ,Nutting Racing Thank you for believing in us and trusting us to put your kids up front.

Darin, if you got this far, thanks for joining me in this wild journey. Just two kids still trying to make their Dads proud.

Happy Easter Yall!
