Man, you can’t make this up!! This came from another shop, they neglected to measure pushrod length correctly, or in my opinion just didn’t check at all. Pushrods 0.100 short that’s way out of the ball park. Make your big cam hit like a stock cam. No worries we will be installing some Johnson Lifters along with some custom made Manton Pushrods and we will get this straightened out. Might even do an intake and throttle body. Bringing the chop back 🪓

Got the new camshaft installed into the 418 stoker, we checked duration, intake center line, and lift with the heads off. Now it’s time to check again with the heads on. This is just a second check to verify our first set of measurements. Unfortunately we are awaiting a set of Liberty Engine Parts LS3 heads that we sent out to Straub Technologies for them to put there spicy touch on. So needless to say once we get the new heads we will be checking a third time! Super excited about this build. Our goal is going to be 600HP to the wheels NA. We got the camshaft todo so, but do we have everything else lined up to accommodate that air flow? We will find out!

Adjusting timing the OG way. Selectable bushings, springs and vacuum advance diaphragm. Takes way longer than stroking the keys on a laptop, but hot dam. So much more satisfying and responsive when done right.
