Inspected this 2008 weekend Warrior RKD 3000 for a client. I was a bit suspicious about all the new roof sealant, so after a closer look I found soft spots around bathroom skylight and vent over bedroom. Needless to say the customer was disappointed with the condition of the RV but was happy to have found out the true condition of the RV. This saved my client thousands of dollars of unexpected repairs. He thanked me and gladly walked away from the purchase. If you are considering purchasing an RV please have it inspected by a third-party inspector.

Inspected this 2021 Entegra Qwest, in Fremont, CA yesterday, priced at $125k. I found this 3 inch crack on top of the forward cap. This will probably be a big problem for water intrusion. There was also some type of impact damage to the awning and sidewall. Before you buy an RV please have it inspected.

Inspected this very nice 2006 Roadtrek 210 Popular in Santa Cruz, CA. It is our first class B inspection of this type. We found six life safety items that need replaced and tested by a qualified technician before it is safe for occupancy. There is a large RV recall being released in July of 2022 affecting over 22 thousand RVs from eight different RV manufacturers and 37 models. If you own one of these or know of someone that does please share this information. This defect is a manufacturers process of an LP (propane) gas fitting that may Crack while being torqued. This may lead to a fire. Roving RV Cares, cares about you, your safety, and your RV. Please share.

I came up with this modification to prevent rain from coming into the generator compartment of my RV. I used 3 aluminum louvered panels. I placed them over the original aluminum expanded metal that was in the door. This should allow the generator to operate as normal, keep it out of direct sunlight, and eliminate rain from entering the compartment. Thoughts?..
