On this Memorial Day, we honor and remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Let us never forget their bravery and sacrifice. 🇺🇸




Fun fact: Did you know that Memorial Day was originally called Decoration Day and was first observed on May 30, 1868, to honor the fallen soldiers of the Civil War? It became a federal holiday in 1971 and is now observed on the last Monday of May each year.

Restoring the interior of a classic Porsche is a labor of love, and when it comes to a Porsche 911 from 1972, the attention to detail is crucial. The interior of this car is just as important as its engine and body, and its what truly sets it apart from other cars on the road.

Thats why the owner decided to undertake a restoration project on the interior of their beloved 911.

The first step in any interior restoration project is to assess what needs to be restored.

In this case we rebuilt the seats, we did a full RS style carpet kit throughout in German Square Weave.

Pictured here we did the seats in special imported yellow and black plaid. We love the way they came out.

The result was a stunning interior that looked like it had just rolled off the production line. The attention to detail and the dedication to preserving the cars original look and feel paid off. The owner now has a fully restored Porsche 911 they can continue to be proud of and one that will turn heads for years to come.

Autobahn Interiors Archives from 2011..rare Porsche 1950 356 Cabriolet!

Back in 2011 Autobahn Interiors was featured in Porsche Panorama August 2011 issue
This was for our participation in a project involving a very rare and highly sought after 1950 Porsche 356 Cabriolet convertible in Adriana Blue.

The model was displayed at the Los Angeles International Auto Show the previous November 2010 in celebration of Porsche in North America for 60 Years. This particular Porsche is truly a magnificent automobile inside and out. It was feted by Porsche AG and Porsche Cars of North America to be the oldest 356 Reutter Cabriolet in the USA. It has been the subject of more photographs and you-tube clips than any other PCA car in history!

Autobahn Interiors were assigned with the interior restoration project for the car. We duplicated the light Gray upholstery and made a new top. Owner and worldly re-knowned master restorer Tony Garcia has completed many 356 interiors, but had said that "he had never seen any like this".

We are looking for someone experienced to join our team. We are looking for someone who is reliable, hard working, and is a good team player with a positive attitude.
