Psssssttt … hey you ? ya you! Wanna know a secret that most mechanic shops/dealerships won’t tell you?!?!
CHANGE YOUR DAMMMMM OIL!!! 😂
Why is that a secret? Because shops and mainly ENGINEERS AND DEALERS make wayyyyyyyy more money on engines/labor and new car sales compared to an oil change!
Don’t wait for the oil reminder (that’s not on your side) to come on, don’t push it until you have time, don’t think going 10k miles on oil is ok, ESPECIALLY if you don’t check your oil! New cars are made to “use” oil and where before oil l**ed a some bearings, now on top of those duties, it controls timing, has to l**e multiple turbos (in some applications) and passes thru more passages/solenoids/screens than ever! Pair all that with telling you that you can go 3x as long on oil that is now thinner than ever is premature failure waiting to happen!
So unless you’ve got thousands of dollars to waste on a replacement engine, take it from us (a honest shop that hates seeing customers waste money on things that could of been prevented) change your dammmm oil 😂
Oil changes are cheap, replacement engines and Labor is not!
And if it’s inconvenient getting an oil change, imagine waiting on getting a replace engine in vehicles more complicated/tighter than ever!!
