When it comes to tuning in the States, for most people it’s all about big power. Everyone chases hp numbers, 1/4 mile times, and 60-130 runs.
The Japanese overall have a very different tuning philosophy focused around balance, driveability, and reliability. This R32 is the perfect example of that.
The only power mods to speak of are Blitz air cleaners and a discontinued Reimax muffler.
Despite a mostly stock setup, many of the supporting/reliability mods you like to see have been added under the hood. A Trust aluminum radiator, HKS oil cooler, and HKS oil separator help ensure longevity.
It’s on the handling side of things where this car shines. It’s been fitted with components from NISMO, Cusco, and Tein. Coilovers, strut tower bars, suspension links, pillow ball tension rods, and more.
On the interior, you’ll notice a couple of things you don’t often see on R32s: One being R33 GT-R front seats, and the other being ZERO dash bubble.
Due to an improperly documented NISMO gauge cluster swap, it is a “True Mileage Unknown” car. However, the condition it is in speaks for itself.
