Dear Customers,

We will be “Permanently Closing” Partners in Performance Automotive Service and Repair. We will not accept new appointments as of May 31st. Ed will still be answering voicemails and phones when he can. This is for any vehicle that is still here, or things we still must finish.

This has not been an easy decision. With costs rising and losing “Vadim” one of our key employees 8 months ago, we decided to call it quits. We just hit 8 years in business and as many of you know we had a lot of hard hits, starting with losing our first building that we invested a large amount of money into to make a functioning auto shop. Then Covid and to finish it off widespread inflation and in ability to find or afford proper help.

We truly appreciate each and every one of you. Without many of you we would not have made it this long. In recent times I have been praying for direction. I feel this has led me to this decision. After we get things closed, I plan to take a little time and figure out my next steps of employment. Also take a little time to enjoy my young family as we all know time flies. It has been 7 Years since I had a week off, so I look forward to feeling human again.

Ed will also be looking for employment so if anyone knows of anything that would be a good fit for him, please share. You can also call or email Ed with any questions etc. And Ed will reach out when he is able. [email protected]

We truly hope we were able to help people over the years and genuinely enjoy all the memories and bonds we built with our customers.

Also, if I end up somewhere that services all vehicle lines, I will be sure to reach out.

Brakes are one of the most important items when it comes to vehicle performing and stopping safely. From high end European Imports to all other vehicle lines. When brakes are in need of replacement we hand select the best pads and rotors for your application. On most we use manufacturers that are used by the original manufacturer of your vehicle.

As ones photo'd you see they are coated the way European vehicles are coated when they are transported from factory to your new car dealer.

Rodent damage is something we see sometimes. If you left vehicle sit for long periods always good to make sure to not leave anything rodents would use as food in garage unless stored in snap tight plastic bin.

If left outside they can also get in your vehicle. Damage wires and tubing. We have repaired wires and had customer return next day with same wire chewed through again. Not very common but figured I would mention as we have seen a couple in past weeks.

New water pump, thermostat, oil filter housing gasket, spark plugs and fluids.

These electric water pumps are fairly common. If ignored causing catastrophic engine damaged. One sign for BMW is engine fan runs heavy and loud all the time.

We will be closing early approx. 2 P.M Friday October 28th and will also be closed Monday October 31st, for some much-needed family. This will also give us some time to get caught up with systems updates etc. We are accepting drop-offs for Tuesday November 1st. Please be sure to call and leave voicemail or be sure to fill out envelope with instructions of issues or services would like done.

Hello Everyone,

We have leaned into the new year and hope everyone is doing well. Temps are getting low. It is a good time pay extra attention to how well your battery starts your car in the morning. If it is more than 5 years old, then most likely it is time for replacement. These cold temps can also cause failure to rubber seals and plastics as they age, they can shrink and harden naturally. If leaks go unnoticed, they can do more damage than just replacing part or seal.

If is time for an oil change, we can do brief once over. Check battery, fluid levels and more.

Roadways are flooding in the area. Be sure not to drive through high standing water. Many vehicles will get water pulled into intake through air filter and hydro lock engine and in most cases will be catastrophic to engine. Also differentials may get water in as well.

If this damage does occur as unavoidable you car insurance most always cover. But always best to not test it and find way around high water.

Many cars can have water forced in just below bumper of car as is where intake is to pull up cooler lower air. When driving through it forces water up ducting into engine.

As per Naper Notify: City crews are out closing some roadways that are flooding, including Julian at Prairie and Washington at Bailey. Please do not drive through flooded roadways and report any flooding to 630-420-6187. The Naperville area is under a flash flood warning until 6:15 PM tonight.
