My bugeye is now fully oporational and the STI motor runs and boy does it run good! Feeling pretty proud after a year of slowly building this EJ motor up from two bare sti case halves to finnish! It was a long difficult road but i stuck it out and seen it through to the end. Next will be a twin turbo set up, tune, and then dyno, yes ill be doing all that myself... well besides the dyno. 💯💣💥

STI build update. Im now done with 2.5 ej25 sti engine rebuild for my bugeye. Setting valve lash so all i gotta do is drop it in the car and do the first start up tomorrow. Total time 126 hours ~ total cost- $4686 (everything i did myself besides the machine work on the block halves. Cant wait to tune and dyno it!

My personal vehicle. The subaru wrx/sti conversion. Sti shortblock, L25 heads, and sti internals. My bugeye started its journey as a 2.5rs and I've done everything from bodywork to splicing the 2.5rs wire harness with an 03 jdm sti harness! Countless hours, blood, sweat, thousands of $$$ and tears have gone into this car to where it is today. Thankfully my beautiful wife has helped almost every step of the way!
