Children & Youth Partnership for Dare County had a ribbon cutting this morning for their new Outdoor Learning Environment area! This is just one of the many programs and projects that they do to support the children of Dare County. They came on board with us when the OBX Rod and Custom Festival was just a concept and dream!! If you have not looked at their Facebook and website to see all the things they do for the kids! We are so glad to be able to help such a great group!

Earlier this week, at the Dare County Board of Commissioners meeting, Children & Youth Partnership for Dare County was honored to receive a generous $30,000 donation from Garage Band Charities through the success of their 2026 OBX Rod and Custom Festival.

What started as an incredible event for car lovers continues to be so much more than a car show. 🚘❤️ Through their passion, generosity, and commitment to the Outer Banks community, Garage Band Charities is creating real and lasting impact.

We are so grateful to Michael Tillett, Richard Quidley, Sara Hole, and everyone involved for their continued support of our mission and their support of children, youth, and families in our community.

Thank you for continuing to prove that when community comes together, amazing things happen.
