100 five-star Google reviews.
Honestly, I’m incredibly grateful.
In a world where it seems like everything gets criticized for the smallest thing, having 100 people take the time to leave a five-star review for my business means more to me than I can really put into words.
Not everyone I’ve had the pleasure of detailing for has left a review, and of course I’d love to see more. But when I stop and think about it, I have 100 people who were kind enough to take time out of their day to publicly thank me for the work I did for them.
That’s pretty damn cool.
When I started Harris Detailing, I wanted to build a business around doing great work. But over time, I’ve realized it’s about a lot more than cleaning cars.
I’ve had the opportunity to meet some incredible people. I’ve heard the stories behind their vehicles. I’ve worked on cars that are completely unique and cars that hold a lot of sentimental value. I’ve had conversations with people I probably never would have crossed paths with otherwise.
And every one of those interactions has taught me something.
The reviews, the conversations, the compliments, and even the constructive criticism have helped me grow not just as a business owner, but as a person. They show me what I’m doing right, where I can improve, and what I can carry forward to the next customer.
At the end of the day, I get to take something that was bothering someone. Whether it’s a filthy interior, a neglected vehicle, or simply not having the time to take care of their car, and leave them with something that makes them happier.
That’s incredibly rewarding.
So to everyone who has trusted me with their vehicle, invited me into their driveway, shared their stories with me, recommended me to someone else, or taken a few minutes to leave a review:
Thank you. Seriously.
100 five-star reviews is a milestone for the business, but the people behind those 100 reviews are what make it mean something.
I’m grateful for every single one of you.
And I’m just getting started.
