Events are typically open to the public. The Oklahoma Mustang Club started meeting in early 1978 and was incorporated on January 3, 1985. We received our official charter into the Mustang Club of America on May 5, 1984. There have been a lot of changes over the years. We have seen the Mustang hobby go from a few people to the 300+ members our club now boasts. Our club's first car shows were nothin
g more than a few Mustang hobbyists getting together and showing off their cars. This has grown to the point where some of our members own eight Mustangs and some others only own some of the parts for a Mustang. But our common bond is the love of the FORD MUSTANG and the over forty years of pleasure it has brought its owners. Several of our members live in Mustang, Oklahoma (where Ford Motor Company unveiled the redesigned 1994 Mustang) Our club sponsors several car shows throughout the year. The club sponsors a local charity located in Norman, OK called A.B.L.E. (Able Bodies Learning to Excel).
