• Prepare your severe weather survival kit now—don’t wait until the last minute.
• Make sure you have multiple ways to receive severe weather alerts and notifications.
• If a tornado strikes while you are in your vehicle, leave it immediately and seek safe shelter.
• Practice your emergency plan regularly, even when the weather is calm.
