Well, where to start. It has definitely been a challenge with lots of work packing up a machine shop and moving it. At the end of February my “slumlord” who owned the building I was using for PPM decided to kick everyone out on extremely short notice and locked us out. So that left us with now where to go at the time. Thankfully I was able to secure a new home to where I won’t have worry about getting the boot again, where we’re at is shop we own now. The only dilemma we faced one we got moved is space and power, we went from 5,000 sqft to 1,800 sqft. The power company has strung us out for 4 months now but finally as of last week we got our new service on and the machines are ready to run to full potential. Wanna say a big Thanks to all the family and friends who helped along the way to get us moved and back up and running. Another big thanks to all of our customers who understood and waited patiently for your orders.
For the last few years I’ve owned PPM it has been my second job and and evening and weekend gig while working 50hrs a week at my old day job. Since all that I’ve decided to run this full time and push it further. We’re currently stocking shelf’s and and gathering pictures for the website to fulfill it with new parts relating to karts, mini bikes and dragsters. I’ve got a back log of parts to make and all the material sitting and ready starting with blocks, heads, 4th bearing supports, flywheel screens and the release of our clone block.
Just as we’re getting ramped up, we will be taking the day off tomorrow to finalize the adoption to our youngest PPM employee Scottie!
