❄️ Cold weather tips for diesels ❄️

Good strong batteries! Can't stress this enough. Have them tested, if needed, replace both, not just one.

Use that block heater! 95% of these trucks have one, use it! Duramax guy's 01-19, its located around the passenger battery area, or tucked under the battery tray.

Let the truck warm up for atleast 15 min before driving, drive easy until fully warm.

Haven't changed your oil in a while, change it!

Clean Fuel filter!! just go ahead and change it or have it changed, don't cheap out on it either.

Keep anti-gel treatment in the tank and extra on hand. Try to keep the fuel tank full. (Less chance of condensation)

Most of these trucks go into a "high idle", its normal. 6.7 Cummins guy's can turn on the exhaust brake, helps with warm up.
