After closely monitoring multiple weather models throughout the week, Diamond Park Speedway and the Southwest Steel Buildings Southern States Modified Series presented by Schultz Fuel Technologies have made the difficult decision to postpone Saturday night’s event.

With rain forecast to move into the area Saturday and high chances continue into the evening hours, officials felt it was in the best interest of our fans, teams, sponsors, and staff to make the call early rather than have everyone travel only to be met with unfavorable conditions.

Round 6 of the Day Motor Sports Championship Series will be rescheduled, and a makeup date will be announced as soon as possible.

While the racing program has been cancelled, the Loud & Lifted Truck Show was always planned as a rain-or-shine event and WILL take place Saturday from 2:00 PM until 7:00 PM as scheduled.

We know this isn’t the news anyone wanted to hear, but we appreciate your understanding and continued support. We’ll dry things out, regroup, and look forward to welcoming the Southern States Modified Series back to Diamond Park Speedway soon.

🚨 THIS SATURDAY IS BIG AT DIAMOND PARK SPEEDWAY! 🚨

Make plans now to spend the day with us!

🔥 MidSouth’s Finest Diamond Show & Shine 2.0 takes over the parking lot from 2PM-7PM featuring lifted trucks, custom rides, music, vendors, awards, and more. 🔥

Concessions 🍔🍟🍿🥤 will be available and a dunk tank for charity will be set up also! 💦

Then when the sun starts going down, the action moves to the racetrack as the Southern States Modified Series makes its first-ever appearance at Diamond Park Speedway!

Plus, all five of our weekly points classes will be in action:

‼️ UPDATE: The owner contacted us and we have spoken. ‼️

We are in possession of video footage showing a black extended cab truck with purple rock lights and a loud exhaust entering the backside of the Diamond Park Speedway property through the parking lot area. We also have the vehicle’s tag number from another camera on the property.

The registered owner or driver of this vehicle has 24 hours to contact Diamond Park Speedway before this matter is turned over to local authorities.

Let this serve as a reminder: Diamond Park Speedway is PRIVATE PROPERTY. Trespassing, unauthorized entry, and activity on the grounds after hours are not permitted and is against the law.

We have worked too hard investing time, money, and effort into this facility to tolerate this kind of behavior. Violators will be prosecuted to the fullest extent permitted by law.
