Ride Guy, how do you select your vehicles??

That's a great question?? How do we pick the vehicle that perfectly balances luxury, safety, and comfort?? Let's take a look.

The first thing we look at is safety. Which vehicle yields the safest experience. Given that all of our vehicles are Yukons, let's take the Yukon as the example. The Yukon has 3 engine options, a 5.3L V8, a 6.2L V8, and a 3L Diesel. The diesel is only paired with the Denali trim, which comes with the air ride suspension. Given the many issues with air ride and the high cost of diesel, that engine option is out. Now we are left with the 6.2 and the 5.3. The 6.2 is also only paired with the Denali trim, which again has the problem plagued air ride suspension. Additionally, the 6.2 engine is well known for it's lifter issues. So, with that being said, we are left with the 5.3. The 5.3 comes with the Elevation trim, formally know as the SLT trim. Plus, the 5.3 engine paired with a robust 10 speed transmission is a powerhouse setup!

Alright, now let's talk impactful! First, we make sure to put Continental tires on. These tires not only last 85,000 miles, and trust me, we know, they perfectly balance comfort and durability. Next, we turn our focus to the interior. Although the stock leather is nice, it doesn't quit hit the "Ride Guy" standard. Therefore, we have the leather upgraded to custom, full grade leather. Talk about plush!! After replacing the leather, we add all of the Ride Guy amenities, and there you go! The Ride Guy trim! This is how we perfectly balance safety, durability, and luxury. Now, that mid trim Yukon feels like a Caddy!! How's that for delightful?!

When can I get back over after passing someone??? We always say 3 car lengths, but what does that actually look like?? Well, here is a trick for you! When passing a vehicle, wait for the entire front of the car you passed to show in your rear view mirror. When you switch back over, this should put you generally 3 car lengths from the vehicle behind you. Hopefully, this will make driving more delightful! Stay safe out there!
