Hey Craterheads!! One of the most common questions we get from our guests would have to be, "What do I need to bring from home?" So we designed this cool little packing checklist. Also keep in mind any of the rental equipment that we offer for rent in packages can be brought by our guests as well! Our packages are just for convenience sake so you don't have to bring big equipment for your trip. We're also happy to fill in the blanks! We have lots of helpful content on our site, be patient with us it's a work in progress. Lol

Crater of Diamonds State Park update!

Craterheads, I think we can finally say it — cooler weather is coming!
After what feels like two straight months of 100-degree weather, seeing those 80s on the forecast sure is a welcome sight around here.
This weekend is looking pretty nice, and then next week we’re supposed to drop into the upper 70s. Now THAT is digging weather.
If you’ve been waiting for the heat to break before making a trip to the Crater of Diamonds, it might be time to start making those plans. It’s a whole lot more enjoyable to spend the day digging when you’re not trying to figure out how to keep from melting.
Fall is coming, the dirt is still there, and there’s always that possibility that the next good find is waiting for somebody.
We’ll see you in Murfreesboro.
