After a few weeks of traveling to shows and filling backorders it feels GREAT to announce some brand new products! We've been working diligently with Kaslo Shops Distributing to help with their sales into the US market by trying to make more of their items directly available through the 3D Central Website. These items will be printed and shipped in the USA so no Tariffs need to be applied. As of this evening most of the Kaslo Shops Distributing 3D Printed product line is now available on the 3D Central Website! Including new NSC 40Ft Boxcars, 50ft HS Boxcars, Woodchip cars, Bulkhead Flatcars, and more! Even Locomotives have been updated with new stock levels.

Along with all of that we've now added the brand-new HO and N Scale GATX Pressure Flow "Whale Belly" Covered Hopper cars!
This is a 3D printed resin kit with etched details (trucks, couplers, decals & weights not included). It is based on Dragon, SCL, SAL, BN and CB&Q prototypes built from 1965 through 1967.
In 1965, General American Transportation Corporation (GATX), designed a new-style covered hopper called “Pressure-Slide” for the transporting of dry bulk material. They provided only one compartment that was pneumatically discharged using an elaborate low pressure (50-80 p.s.i.) air ductwork system. The unique shape of the tank quickly led to their nickname, “whale-belly hoppers.” The 38’ 7” long cars had a capacity of 2,800 cubic feet (100-ton) of material.
