With these divisions working together daily our customers receive the best when it comes to Jaguar and Classic Car Repair and Restorations. Muncie Imports and Classics is also one of the longest established Bosch Service Centers in the United States, where we service and repair Late Model / European Imports providing our customers with a place “where Quality cars get Quality care.”

Watching a vehicle like this roll up the ramp and into the trailer never gets easier, but it is the ultimate goal. Hundreds of hours of patience, precision, and relentless craftsmanship all lead up to this exact moment.
This model went on to become the fastest production vehicle in the world in its day, capable of hitting a staggering 120 mph. Sir William Lyons built these to be driven, and this silver roadster is leaving the facility fully prepared to do exactly that.
The 3.4-litre inline-six is humming, the fresh leather is pristine, and this beauty is ready to shock and awe whoever is lucky enough to see it on the open road. It is time for this classic to head home.

The engineering of a 1965 milestone.

The 1965 model year marked a significant mechanical evolution for the Series 1 Open Two Seater. While Malcolm Sayer’s revolutionary aerodynamic monocoque remained unchanged, 1961 to 1964 models featured an exposed, non-telescopic steering column and a notoriously unforgiving Moss gearbox. The arrival of the 1965 4.2 Litre introduced a fully synchronized, Jaguar-designed four-speed transmission, an adjustable steering column, and vastly improved seat ergonomics—making it widely considered the definitive driver’s E-Type.

Even with these mechanical updates, the convertible top mechanism required absolute precision. It had to fold completely flush beneath a vinyl boot cover to preserve Sayer’s strict aerodynamic profile, avoiding the bulky, exposed stacks common on rival sports cars of the era.
Securing the top on this 1965 Series 1 requires precision alignment across the three-bow folding mechanism to ensure a level, weather-tight seal along the chrome windshield header.

Moving the 1973 E-Type OTS out for its first rollout. Our restoration process for the Series 3 focuses on the mechanical integration of the V12 and precise body fitment.
Every panel gap, chrome detail, and synchronization of the twelve-cylinder engine meets the standard required for this era of Jaguar. We prioritize precision metalwork and cooling system refinement on every build. Just craftsmanship.

The Jaguar XK140 represents the evolution of the post-war sports car, refining the high-speed touring capabilities of its predecessor.
Central to its mechanical integrity is the hydraulic braking system. Preservation of the original pedal response requires a methodical approach to fluid pressure and line clearance. By indexing these systems to factory-correct specifications, we ensure the vehicle performs according to its original engineering intent.

On a Series 2 E-Type, the difference between a restoration and a masterpiece is found in the metalwork. If the fitment isn’t perfect in the primer stage, it will never be perfect in the booth. We spend the hours here so the paint has a flawless canvas to live on.
