What a beautiful day it was to have jobs in Dallas, Kunkle, and Noxen, PA. The view was incredible driving through those areas especially after the sun came out! Days like today make me feel lucky to do what I do!

If you want to catch some beautiful fall foliage before the leave fall, I highly recommend traveling RT-29 from West Nanticoke to Kunkle.

BEWARE OF SOME OF THE LAWN EQUIPMENT BEING SOLD ON MARKETPLACE!

I'm not saying not to buy tractors, mowers, and other equipment from marketplace, but please exercise due diligence! Over the past 3 weeks, I've repaired 5 machines, with serious problems, that were purchased locally on facebook marketplace. I just scheduled #6.

Every one of the buyers spent $500-$800 on lawn tractors (more than 12 years old) from marketplace, only to have them fail within the first or second time they went to use them. Then, hundreds more to have them fixed.

The problems I'm seeing are: hard start/no start, leaking/gummed up carburetors, multiple oil leaks, a blown head gasket, a seized deck spindle, a cracked/slipping transmission belt, stripped spindle shafts with bent blades, and dry-rotted tires.

Don't be the next victim. If you're unsure, or don't know what to look for, ask someone who does know to go with you to look at it.
