We had a busy night with Hibbing PD and it is possible that your vehicle was impounded.
1. Is your vehicle not where you parked it last night?
2. Is your street freshly plowed?
You can call 218-780-1726 to speak with the dispatchers and confirm whether we picked up your car.
The address of our Hibbing location is 11441 Highway 37, Hibbing, MN. You do not need to come to the Mountain Iron lot.
3. Did you recently buy your vehicle and haven’t transferred it yet? You will need to go to the DMV before claiming your vehicle. They open at 7 am, and the address is 3106 E Beltline, Hibbing, MN 55746.
You will need to transfer the vehicle and bring that paperwork to the impound yard.
4. Bring your ID, proof of insurance (screenshot works)
5. Bring payment for towing and impound fees.
6. Sign up for the alerts that go out for snow removal at https://www.hibbingmn.gov/341/Northland-Alert Personally, I received the SMS alert at 3:44 pm and an automated phone call at 3:47 pm.
Disclaimer: We can only attest to the vehicles the PD instructed us to tow. It is possible that other tow companies were working in some neighborhoods with the PD. You may have received a parking ticket from the PD. That will need to be paid separately through their payment systems.
