Around midnight last night, we received a call from Illinois State Police for an overturned semi at the 105-mile marker as well as another unit. Two large coils had been ejected from the trailer and landed in the median.

With both lanes blocked by the overturned semi and trailer, a second semi traveling through the area then struck the first overturned semi and trailer.

Our crew arrived on scene and worked to upright the overturned semi and remove both units from the roadway, restoring the flow of traffic.

Last night around 2 a.m. at the 76 mile marker on I-57 southbound this driver had a large switchgear or transformer type f unit fall off of his step next to Trailer. Then it slid under the bridge then hit the bridge pillar coming to a rest directly under the bridge on the side. Here’s a quick video of the recovery.

It’s harvest season and without being said farming is like every other business. You’re gonna have hiccups in the process of getting things done. Today Damon went out to help a local farmer lift his engine out of his combine so he could replace a rear main oil seal and then lifted it back in after they replaced the seal. We appreciate the opportunity to serve you.

Yesterday our  friends over at Knapp Oil had a couple of empty 15000 gallon bulk propane tanks that needed loaded onto semi trailers so we made it happen.

Do you wanna talk about the coolest thing ever? Today, we took our 75 ton rotator tow truck out to the Mount Vernon airport for a light sport aircraft show to display the American flag in honor of 9-11. I got to meet Brett Rayburn and he owns a cloud rider, which is basically a drone you ride in. Yes, I got to fly it!! Totally an awesome experience. We had an oversized load get high centered when he pulled off the main road onto the job site road in Centralia today. The semi was hauling a part of a natural gas substation plant that is being built. We picked it up, sat it back in the middle of the driveway, and he was on his way..

At around 4 o’clock this morning, we responded to a Motorcycle v/s Deer accident on South 42nd St. in front of Caliber Collision. The owner called this morning and asked if we had any pictures of his bike and said that he was going to be OK that he had a broken collarbone and a knee injury but was going to be OK.🙏🏻🙏🏻
