Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and motivated Light Duty Tow Truck Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing efficient and courteous towing and roadside assistance services to our customers. This role involves operating a light-duty tow truck to transport vehicles that are disabled or in need of towing, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate light-duty tow trucks to transport vehicles safely and efficiently.
Respond to towing requests promptly and professionally.
Conduct vehicle inspections and perform routine maintenance checks on the tow truck.
Assist stranded motorists with jump starts, lockouts, and tire changes as needed.
Maintain accurate records of towing and roadside assistance activities.
Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to provide updates and resolve issues.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
Qualifications:
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Previous experience in towing or roadside assistance is a plus.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle stressful situations.
Ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed.
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
This position is subject to random drug testing and a pre employment background check.
