Did you know Mr.Zander consumes 15 eggs a day?

EVEN at the official ARA Olympus Rally this year Mr.Zander was taking in nearly a dozen eggs before dinner time. We were fortunate enough to capture this moment while the Mitsubishi EVO was out on stage competing šŸ˜Ž

During our exhibition at Olympus Rally we came across this brand new Mini Cooper out on course absolutely ripping through the stages.

If I’m not mistaken this was their first event out on course which made it even cooler to witness. Seeing a fresh build being driven the way it was intended always adds something special to rally weekends.

The Mini platform has always had a reputation for being playful and capable but seeing this one flying through the dirt with confidence definitely caught our attention.

Nothing better than watching new drivers and new builds getting out there and fully committing to the experience.

The 1973 Mercedes-Benz 450SL represented the beginning of a new era for Mercedes-Benz grand touring cars. Built during the launch years of the R107 platform these SL models quickly became known for their timeless styling, solid engineering, and effortless highway cruising.

Unlike many sports cars of the era the SL focused more on refinement and durability than outright performance. Buyers were drawn to the combination of luxury, removable hardtop versatility, and the smooth V8 driving experience Mercedes-Benz became famous for.

Ironically we seem to see these cars constantly in all sorts of shapes, configurations, and colors. From perfectly preserved originals to customized cruisers and long-forgotten project cars the R107 platform somehow continues to show up everywhere decades later.

More than 50 years later the R107 remains one of the most recognizable classic Mercedes platforms ever built and continues to represent the golden era of German touring cars.

The Stewart & Stevenson LMTV was never designed to blend in. Built for military use the Light Medium Tactical Vehicle platform was engineered to handle rough terrain, extreme conditions, and heavy payloads while maintaining reliability in environments most civilian vehicles would never survive.

One of the first things people notice about the LMTV is its massive height and commanding presence. Sitting far above normal traffic these trucks were designed with serious ground clearance to navigate mud, rocks, debris, water crossings, and uneven terrain with ease. Climbing into one feels more like entering heavy equipment than a traditional truck.

The elevated ride height also gave military operators improved visibility in difficult environments while helping protect critical drivetrain and suspension components underneath the vehicle.

Powered by a turbo diesel engine and paired with a military-grade drivetrain the LMTV became known for its durability and capability both on and off road. Stewart & Stevenson built these trucks to prioritize function over comfort which is exactly what gives them their unmistakable character today.

Whether used for overland builds, collectors, off-road rigs, or simply appreciating military engineering the LMTV stands out as one of the most recognizable tactical vehicles ever produced.

A machine built with one purpose in mind. Go places most vehicles physically cannot. Oh and we can service yours šŸ”§

1960 Mercedes-Benz 190b

An iconic piece of Mercedes-Benz history. The ā€œPontonā€ generation helped define post-war Mercedes engineering and became known for its durability, elegant styling, and overbuilt construction.

Powered by a reliable inline-four engine and featuring classic unibody design, these cars were considered extremely advanced for their era. The Ponton models introduced a smoother more modern body shape compared to the separate fender designs that came before them.

The 190b was aimed at buyers who wanted luxury, quality, and long-term reliability rather than flashy styling or excessive performance. Many of these cars were used as executive transport and family touring vehicles throughout Europe during the late 1950s and early 1960s.

Today surviving examples are becoming increasingly difficult to find especially complete cars with original character still intact. A true collector piece that represents one of the most important eras of Mercedes-Benz engineering.

Perfect for collectors, vintage European enthusiasts, or someone looking for a timeless classic that stands apart from typical American cars of the same era.

Working on this 1964 Oldsmobile Dynamic 88 is always a unique experience because these cars represented a very advanced level of engineering and comfort for their time.

The Dynamic 88 was designed during an era when American manufacturers were competing heavily on smoothness, drivability, and innovation. Oldsmobile especially became known for pushing more refined engineering into full-size cars.

One of the more interesting features is the Jetaway automatic transmission setup paired to Oldsmobile’s V8 platform. The transmission bolts directly to the rear of the engine through a large bellhousing design and was engineered to deliver extremely smooth shifts and effortless cruising. At the time this level of refinement was considered very modern and helped separate Oldsmobile from many competitors.

The 1964 Dynamic 88 also carried the long low styling that defined mid-1960s American luxury. Massive body lines, soft suspension, and effortless V8 power made these cars feel more like highway cruisers than simple transportation.

Cars like this remind you how much innovation and craftsmanship existed during the peak of American automotive design.

Within this red Chevrolet Chevelle SS we installed a Holley Sniper EFI fuel injection system along with a custom radiator and a few additional upgrades to modernize performance and reliability while still preserving the raw character of this classic muscle car!

The Holley Sniper EFI system replaces the traditional carburetor with an electronic fuel injection setup that continuously adjusts fuel delivery in real time. Compared to older carbureted systems it helps improve cold starts, throttle response, drivability, fuel consistency, and overall reliability. It also reduces many of the common frustrations older muscle cars are known for like hard starts, fuel smell, stalling, or constantly needing adjustments with weather and elevation changes.

One of the best parts about the Sniper EFI system is that it keeps a classic appearance while giving the car a much more refined driving experience behind the wheel.

We also had the opportunity to dyno tune the car with Drive Auto Sports to properly dial everything in and make sure the car performs exactly the way it should šŸ”§

The bright red 1936 Ford Coupe represents one of the most iconic eras in American hot rod culture. Long before modern performance cars existed builders were taking lightweight pre-war Fords and transforming them into fast stripped-down machines built for speed and personality.

The 1936 Ford Coupe became a favorite among hot rodders because of its sleek body lines, simple construction, and endless customization potential. After World War II returning servicemen began modifying older Fords using mechanical skills they learned during the war. What started as inexpensive transportation quickly evolved into an entire underground car culture.

Hot rodding was never just about horsepower. It was about individuality. Every build reflected the personality of its owner through custom paint, chopped roofs, upgraded engines, loud exhausts, and hand-built details. No two street rods were ever exactly alike.

The 1936 Ford Coupe became especially popular because it balanced classic styling with performance potential. Builders often swapped in larger V8 engines and modified suspension setups turning these lightweight coupes into serious street machines.

By the 1950s and 1960s hot rod culture exploded across America through drag racing, custom car shows, magazines, and drive-in meetups. Cars like the ’36 Ford Coupe became symbols of freedom, rebellion, and creativity.

Today street rods continue carrying that same spirit. While modern performance cars may be faster on paper few vehicles capture the raw personality and handcrafted character of a classic hot rod.

A red 1936 Ford Coupe is more than just an old car. It is a rolling piece of American car culture built during a time when speed was created in garages and individuality mattered more than perfection.

The 2014 Porsche Boxster S proved that Porsche still knew how to build a true driver’s car during a time when many sports cars were becoming more focused on technology and performance numbers.

Powered by a naturally aspirated 3.4-liter flat-six engine the Boxster S delivered one of the purest driving experiences of its era. The mid-engine layout, sharp steering, and high-revving engine made the car feel incredibly connected to the road.

What makes this example even more special is the rare Lime Gold Metallic finish. A color that changes dramatically depending on lighting and angle. In some light it appears champagne gold while in others it carries subtle green and bronze tones. Porsche has always been known for unique paint options and Lime Gold Metallic remains one of the more uncommon colors seen on the 981 generation today.

The 981 generation Boxster marked an important turning point for Porsche. Many enthusiasts consider it one of the last modern Porsches to fully capture an analog driving feel before turbocharging and heavier digital systems became more common.

The Boxster S was designed for drivers who wanted true sports car performance without sacrificing everyday usability. Instead of relying on massive horsepower the car focused on balance, confidence, and driver engagement.

Production numbers for Lime Gold Metallic examples remain very low compared to standard Porsche colors which makes this spec stand out even among other Boxsters.

A car that feels just as rewarding on a backroad as it does parked at a show. Subtle enough to stay classy while still being unique enough to never blend in.
