I know it’s been a while since I posted anything. Just wanted to let everybody know what’s going on. Been busy, busy busy,here’s just a little taste of what I’ve been working on. This is a custom chopper that was having starting issues and brake issues. Had to replace the master cylinder and brake line T for the rear brake and all kinds of carnage inside the primary. Owner also opted for a new front tire as the old one was almost 20 years old and a detail. I think it shined up like a pretty new penny. Too bad they don’t make those anymore.

That time of year where I'm doing my beginning of the year research for racing dates. Unfortunately I'm not finding any bike races in the area this year. We might go for fun drags at MoKan but I'm not seeing any bike shootout scheduled at either race track in the vicinity. Looking like next year I'm going to have to see about sponsoring races at MoKan.

Well it is all back together, except for the chain. Waiting on that to arrive so I can get this bad boy back on the road...

Here is proof that doing the right thing is always the best thing. I ordered a few parts and a specialty tool from j&p cycles. The package arrived today and I was like a kid at Christmas opening it up. To my surprise not only was everything that I ordered in the box but something I did not order was in the box. It was a brake pedal repair kit for a KTM dirt bike. Although eventually I might need one for a KTM I did not order it or pay for it. So I contacted j&p customer service and told them what had happened. After sending them pictures they sent me a return label but they also issued me $10 in store credit. I could have not said anything and kept this part for later use but the right thing to do was let the company know that a mistake had happened in my favor. Here's to a good long riding season and let's all keep our knees in the breeze as much as possible.

Well here we are a year later it's time for an update on the shop. Today I watched the last scoop of debris go into the dumpster. We have come a long way this year but we still have a ways to go. Some big things are going to be coming this year and I'm looking forward to sharing that journey with everyone.
