We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Diesel Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel engine repair and maintenance, with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently, but willing to train the right individual. This role requires a commitment to safety and quality, ensuring that all vehicles and equipment are in optimal working condition.
Duties
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, including but not limited to brake repair, HVAC systems, and suspension components.
Utilize automotive diagnostics tools to troubleshoot and identify mechanical issues.
Repair or replace parts such as shocks, struts, ball joint and other suspension elements as needed.
Interpret schematics and technical manuals to guide repair processes effectively.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects and adherence to safety protocols.
Be punctual and clean
Requirements
Proven experience as a Diesel Technician or similar role in automotive or heavy machinery repair is preferred but not required, willing to train.
Familiarity with Powerstroke, Cummins & Duramax engines is a plus.
Strong understanding of electrical systems, and schematics related to diesel engines.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Valid driver’s license; certification in diesel technology is preferred but not mandatory.
